QPR striker Bobby Zamora will be out of action for approximately three months as he requires an exploratory operation on a hip injury.

The striker incurred the problem in training and could now be on the sidelines until February to further to add to under-fire manager Mark Hughes’ problems.

Zamora has scored four goals in 12 appearances for QPR this season, although his last one came in the 2-1 defeat at Tottenham on 23 September.
