Manchester United’s pursuit of Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann may have halted due to the Frenchman apparently stating he is happy in the capital of Spain.

If United are unable to lure Griezmann from Madrid, Mourinho may target 28 year old forward, Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich or Monaco’s French youngster, Kylian Mbappe.

Lewandowski has been prolific for Bayern and though the Red Devils would love to see the polish forward at the club, Bayern Munich manager, Carlo Ancelotti is unlikely to sell the player due to his importance to the club.

Kylian Mbappe, 18, could be a more likelier target to move to England but that could all depend upon whether Manchester United can qualify for the Champions League.

And with Mbappe making such an impact in Ligue 1, the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid will also look towards the promising striker.

Mourinho should do all he can to bring the youngster to Manchester United as he would be an excellent addition to the squad and to the Premier League.
