Pogba, Juventus, PSG

Italian sports daily La Gazzetta Dello Sport is reporting that Juventus has turned down a 70€ million offer from French Champions Paris Saint Germain for Paul Pogba.

The Old lady of Italian football rejected PSG’s offer and will tie the young Frenchman down to a new more lucrative contract at the end of the season.

There has been a huge interest in the French golden boy from a host of top European clubs including Chelsea and Real Madrid with even his former club Manchester United thinking about trying to get back the star they let leave for 1€ million in compensation in what will turn out to be Sir Alex Ferguson’s biggest mistake at Old Trafford.

Once the January transfer window closes, the Bianconeri will offer Pogba a new deal even though his current contract does not expire until 2017, and should the youngster sign a new contract it could see his wages rise to 4€ million per-season.

This is all a win-win situation for Juventus who would probably cash in should a bidding war between PSG and say Real Madrid take place.
