Sanchez could move across London to rivals

Alexis Sanchez’s future at Arsenal looks set to be away from the Emirates as Chelsea, PSG and Juventus all look to sign the Chilean forward this summer.

Sanchez has been linked with a move away from North London since contract talks stalled as Sanchez wants to be paid double his weekly salary like many top players at their clubs. There were also rumours of a bust up with manager Arsene Wenger on the training ground, prior to the match against Liverpool which saw the Chilean forward starting on the bench which Wenger claims to be untrue.

Wenger spoke about contract talks between the club and Sanchez and stated in an interview exclusive to beIN Sports, “We have decided to focus on the end of the season and talk about it in the summer. It is the same situation with Özil because once you don’t find an agreement and it [the negotiation] lasts, it is not good so it is better you get it out and sit down in the summer.”

This may back fire on Arsenal as a whole host of clubs in Europe would love a a player of Sanchez’s calibre to grace their squads and most notably Chelsea who could lose Eden Hazard to Real Madrid in the summer.

Antonio Conte believes the Chilean would be an ideal replacement for the Belgian and has reportedly spoken to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich to acquire his signature if the Chilean is to leave the Emirates. Reports of a £50 Million offer for the Chilean are being weighed up by the West London club.

If Wenger is unable to convince Sanchez to stay at Arsenal and sign a new contract, he will undoubtedly look to sell the player away from the Premier League. But Sanchez may be happy in England and could decide on a move across London, which will infuriate the Gunners’ supporters.
