On loan Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has said that he wants to discuss his future with the bosses at Stamford Bridge according to the Evening Standard.

Currently the Belgium number one goalkeeper is having a wonderful spell with Atletico Madrid where he has been playing on loan for the past three years.

Atletico are challenging for the La Liga title and would like to sign Courtois to a permanent deal at the Vicente Calderon.

For their part Chelsea is quite happy to stick with Petr Cech for now and rather than have his replacement just sitting on the bench they have preferred him having first team playing time while on loan in Spain.

The Belgium keeper would like to join Atletico on a permanent basis, and if not wants to know what are Chelsea’s plans for him.

“It depends on Chelsea and what they ask. First, my agent is talking to Chelsea, to ask if I could talk to other clubs. Then we’ll know a bit more,” Courtois said.

“Atletico will wait for what Chelsea has to say.

“First, we want to hear from Chelsea what they are going to do and then we’ll see.”
