Manchester City and Manchester Utd are both linked with the former Arsenal star player.

who has hit 14 goals this season for Barcelona, and has made clear that he has no intention leaving Camp Nou.

After being questioned about his future at the Catalan club Fabregas said: “There is nothing to say.

“I’m very happy at Barca, and I want to stay for many more years to come.”

This season, the Spaniard has often been deployed in a forward position rather than his normal midfield role in place of the injured Lionel Messi.

But with Messi’s return to fitness and signing of Brazilian starlet Neymar, Fabregas is likely to return to a midfield role should he remain at the club.

Fabregas still has three years left on his contract after returning to Barcelona from  Arsenal back  in 2011.
