The 2-3 defeat at home to Valencia marks the first time Barca has lost at the Nou Camp since a 1-2 loss to Real Madrid in April of 2012.

The loss to 8th place Valencia ends a run of 25 undefeated games at home and opens up the La Liga race for both Atletico and Real Madrid who play today against Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao.

The loss brings up the question that not all may be way in the Barcelona camp yet trainer Tata Martino is confident that the club can get back to their winning ways saying:

“I would say to them [the Barcelona players that everything continues, that we may lose the leadership of the league, but that we will still continue to fight.”

“We will try to recover the lost ground on our title rivals. We conceded chances to Valencia and they took advantage of them. We need to keep going and keep in mind how much this hurt us today.”

Both Madrid teams would move above Barcelona should they win their respective matches this afternoon as La Liga looks to have a topsy turvy finish to the season with all three clubs still in contention.
