QPR offered former Arsenal striker

With the Turkish transfer window not closing until Monday afternoon TalkSport is reporting that the Hoops have signed Manchester United’s Will Keane and Wolves Kevin Doyle on loan until the end of the season following a recent shoulder injury to their top scorer Charlie Austin.

Manager Harry Rednapp must now decide if he should go after Shakhtar Donetsk striker Eduardo who last played in England back in 2010 for Arsenal before moving to the Ukraine for a fee believed to be around £6 million.

The 30-year-old Eduardo plays internationally for Croatia and would be eager to move back to England ahead of next summer’s World Cup and despite the interest from Queens Park Rangers given the option he would if possible prefer to return to Arsenal saying earlier last month:

“I do not know anything about it, other than what I read in the media.

“But of course, who would not like to go to Arsenal? Everybody knows that when I left, everything was done in a friendly manner.

“We are still friends and after leaving I spoke several times with Arsene Wenger. I still have many friends in London but of course this does not mean that I will come back to Arsenal.”

Eduardo has scored four goals for Shakhtar Donetsk in 13 appearances this season, and although he said he would like to return to the Gunners it looks more likely that he will be on his way to Loftus Road.
