We have found the best man to MANAGE Chelsea and it’s not Allegri

For Chelsea fans it has been a bit of a traumatic year going from the highs of winning the Premier League title to seeing charismatic manager Jose Mourinho fired following the clubs worst ever start to a domestic season.

Following the dismissal of the Portuguese maestro, Dutchman Guus Hiddink was brought in to save the sinking ship, and while he may not have been the fans first choice to come in as manager, he has done a bang up job of restoring the team moral and more importantly the player’s belief in themselves.

Hiddink as we all know will only be in charge till the summer, following which owner Roman Abramovich will appoint a new manager , and as things stand at the moment it looks very much as though current Juventus boss Max Allegri is leading the pack of hopeful candidates.

Here at Soccer Transfers we are not too sure that the 48-year-old Italian is the right man for the job, despite having won the Serie A title and having taken the Turin based team all the way to last season’s Champions League final he has absolutely zero experience of the Premier League.

Whoever takes over at Stamford Bridge has a big task ahead of him, with the current Blues team well past its sell by date, meaning that the new man in charge has some tough decisions to make as several players need to be replaced with younger options .

After scouring a list of suitable candidates for the manager’s job, and narrowing it down to two men who we feel are capable of leading a top Premier League team only one manager has the experience of not only the English game and success in Europe and that man is Carlo Ancelotti.

Whether or not the former Real Madrid man is up for another spell at Chelsea remains to be seen, but for now at least we believe he is the best man for the task at hand, and not Allegri.
