Hazard could be celebrating at Madrid next season

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has made Chelsea’s Eden Hazard the main transfer target for the summer and the Belgian could find it difficult to reject a move to the Bernabeu.

Zidane has been a big fan of the attacking midfielder and would love to increase the potency of his attacking trio to rival the unstoppable Messi, Suarez and Neymar at Barcelona.

Hazard, 26, has been Chelsea’s main point of attack and the Belgian has scored 11 goals and made 4 assists so far this season in the Premier League. Though Antonio Conte would rather keep the player, reports suggest the Italian is willing to allow the attacking midfielder to leave for Real Madrid but in exchange, wants James Rodriguez, who has fallen down the pecking order under Zidane.

Real Madrid made an offer to sign Hazard last summer but Chelsea wouldn’t let the Belgian leave. Speculation is that Chelsea spoke to Hazard and asked him to stay for at least one more season and allowing him to speak to Madrid if another offer were to arise.

Now Real Madrid look ready to pounce on the Belgian and make him their star summer signing, with Spanish publication, Marca, headlining on Monday that ‘Chelsea open to negotiation’.

Hazard would find it difficult to reject a move to Real Madrid like many other players as his style and directness would suit his play in Spain, along with being protected by referees in La Liga, similarly to Ronaldo and Messi.

If Hazard does decide to leave Stamford Bridge for the Bernabeu, Antonio Conte will look to find a suitable replacement and interest in unsettled Arsenal’s, Alexis Sanchez, have surfaced, with the West London club willing to pay up to £50 million for the Chilean forward to move across from North to West London.

Arsene Wenger though would rather let Sanchez leave to go abroad rather than stay in the Premier League and join a rival.
