Manchester United,

Now that the move for Fredy Guarin has fallen through between Inter Milan and Juventus it could open the door for a couple of English clubs to step in and do a deal.

Originally the Columbian midfielder was to move to Juventus with Montenegrin striker Mirko Vucunic to go to Inter Milan, but thanks to an outpouring of decent from Inter fans the deal collapsed.

Guarin did not turn up for training today which has Turin newspaper Tuttosport claiming that Manchester United will make Inter an offer to the Nerazzurri of Mexican striker Javier Hernandez for the Colombian midfielder slightly similar to the deal they had wanted to do with Juventus the difference being however that Hernandez is five years younger than Vucinic which is something that might appeal more to the fans.

Inters manager Walter Mazzarri, is whatever happens in dire need of striking options so the thought of getting the former Guadalajara man might appeal to him.

The big loser in the whole affair is Vucinic who remains at Juventus in a team where he does not get enough playing time which opens up the possibility of Arsenal signing him on loan till the end of the season a move which could very well suit both
