L’Equipe in France is calming that Manchester City is once again looking at Porto’s £42 million rated Eliaquim Mangala.
The French sports daily claims that City has the money available and is ready to beat AS Monaco in signing the Porto star.
Porto has been trying desperately to hang on to the 22-year-old defender who has the potential to become one of the best defenders in the world.
So far the Portuguese club has resisted all offers and has said that they will not part with one of their best players for less than the £42 million buyout-clause he has in his contract.
This is a huge amount to pay for a player that has of yet not really proven himself yet for the clubs that are leading the chase to sign him money is not a problem given their financial resources.
