Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is confident that he can sign Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema during the January transfer window according to the British tabloid The Sun.

The newspaper is reporting that the Gunners boss believes that a fee of £30 million will be enough to sign the French international striker who joined Real Madrid from French Ligue 1 side Lyon back in 2009.

Benzema has only manages to score two goals during eight la Liga appearances and if feeling the pressure from Spain’s U-21 striker Alvaro Morata.

Arsene Wenger is a long term fan of Benzema, and after seeing how well his former Real Madrid teammate Mesut Özil is doing at Arsenal the Gunners boss thinks that he will have no problem in signing Benzema.

Reports out of the Spanish capital suggest that Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is not happy with Benzema’s performance with rumours flying around that Los Blancos are going to make a move for either Liverpool’s Luis Suarez or AS Monaco’s Radamel Falcao.
