Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is tracking French winger Antoine Griezmann with the hope of bringing the youngster to the Emirates in the summer according to British tabloid the Daily Star.

There is at the moment huge interest in Griezmann from across Europe as he is having a banner season with his Spanish club scoring 19 times in 38 appearances for the La Liga club.

PSG, Real Madrid and Juventus are all interested in the 22-year-old who came up through the Real Sociedad youth system.

Sociedad are in no hurry to sell their star player, but will have a tough fight now that Arsenal has revealed their intent on signing him.

Wenger told Telefoot: “Yes, we follow him in great detail.

“That should not come as a surprise because he attracts other clubs as well.

“But we follow him, he is a known commodity.”

With the current form Griezmann is showing in Spain he could easily find himself on a plane for Brazil as part of French coach Didier Deschamps World Cup squad.
