One of Manchester City’s most important players, Captain Vincent Kompany is still training alone after suffering a setback in his rehabilitation to recover from a groin injury, and is almost certain to miss City’s next two matches including the return leg of the Champions league match up against CSKA Moscow at the Etihad.

Kompany has not featured for City since suffering his latest injury in a Premiership match against Everton back on October 5th.

It was expected that the Belgium international would have been back to play in the 2-1 loss to Chelsea at last Sunday in London, but his injury kept him on the side lines.

The problem resurfaced last week when medical staff at Stamford bridge upped the defenders training before he had fully recovered, and now will once again be without one of their most influential player as City struggle to maintain a serious threat for the Premiership title.
