Liverpool, transfer, Willian,

After a brilliant display that only lacked a shortage of goals from Iago Aspas, Phippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge, we are hearing reports that both of Liverpool’s Brazilian players Lucas and Coutinho have been in touch with Willian on Twitter urging him to join the Reds.

The BBC football correspondent Ben Smith has also said on Twitter @BenSmithBBC

@Waseem__B I am told tomorrow is ‘D-day when it comes to #LFC interest in Willian. We shall see.

Ben Smith is one of the most reliable journalists out there so we have to consider he has a good source for his news which if true would be a fantastic boost for the team going into their next game against Aston Villa at the weekend.

The deal for Willian from what we understand is £30 million and a wage of £100,000 per-week, and while this all sounds very tempting nothing is done until it is done as we found out in the case of Henrikh Mkhitaryan who looked certain to be heading for Anfield until he signed for Dortmund.
