According to TalkSport, Brendan Rodgers Liverpool have failed in their attempt to sign Chelsea’s Juan Mata, after trying to get Chelsea let the Spanish international join the Reds on a season long loan.
There has also been no enquiry’s made by Arsenal who have been weighing up both Chelsea’s Mata, and Real Madrid’s Mesut Özil.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is insisting that Mata will be a part of his new look squad despite the fact that the 25-year-old did not feature in last night’s match against Manchester United at Old Trafford that ended in a scoreless stalemate.
