Liverpool defender Daniel Agger showed that he is a class act following an incident while on international duty for Denmark.

During a training session before Denmark’s crucial group B World Cup qualifier against Italy on Friday night, a match the Danes need a result from if they want to go to Brazil for the finals, Liverpool’s Daniel Agger hit wayward strike hit a spectator that was there to watch the national team train.

At first there were giggles and laughter after the young man got hit in the head with the ball, but Agger was not laughing concerned that the person the ball hit was OK he jumped a fence to tell him he was sorry, and to prove the point gave the young fan his jersey.

Italy has already qualified for their place in Brazil, and cannot be knocked off the top spot in Group B so are under no pressure as Denmark battle with Bulgaria for a second place berth.
