According to website fozzaitalia Hellas Verona midfielder Jorginho is on the verge of a 10€ move to fellow Italian club Napoli.
The 22-year-old Italian who was born in Brazil has been in excellent form for the Gialloblu scoring seven times in 18 appearances this season which has attracted a lot of interest from not only Italian clubs but Premiership ones as well.
Before switching their attention to Jorginho Rafa Benítez was interested in Rubin Kazan’s defensive midfielder Yann M’Vila a player Liverpool have also been courting.
With Napoli now apparently deciding not to go for the Frenchman it puts Liverpool in a much stronger position to try and get the 23-year-old to move to Anfield.
Liverpool has proposed an initial loan deal to the end of the season although it is believed the Russians would prefer a sale.
