ITALIAN football today hit a shocking low after Mario Balotelli was fined — following HIS race-hate hell.

The ex-Manchester City star was the victim of horrific racial abuse during Sunday’s Milan derby.

Yet Serie A chiefs have hit BALOTELLI in the pocket for confronting Inter racists after the final whistle.

AC Milan’s Italy international was fined £8,600 for a “vulgar gesture” following the San Siro clash, which ended 1-1.

Inter were also fined £43,200 for their fans’ vile abuse, while AC Milan copped an £8,600 penalty for unveiling “insulting banners”.

Last month, Inter were forced to pay £13,200 when their ultras aimed racist chants at Balotelli during a match against Chievo.

Italian football had vowed to clean up its act earlier this season after former Tottenham and Portsmouth star Kevin-Prince Boateng walked off during an AC Milan friendly due to racist abuse.
