In a news story I told you about back on the 6th of June when news out of Italy was saying the Tevez had signed for Juventus it  has now been confirmed  by Sky Sports who say that representatives from both clubs met in London on Tuesday to finalize the deal.

The £10 million 3-year contract will now see the Manchester City striker travel to Italy today for a medical and to discuss personal terms with the Serie A Champions.

Manchester City will now be out shopping for a replacement with their only strike options Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko remaining at the club.

So far incoming manager Manuel Pellegrini has yet to sign a player, but you have to think that now Carlo Ancelotti is in place at Real Madrid the big name signings will start to happen.

Tevez joined the Citizens back in 2009 from cross town rivals Manchester United, and despite turbulent episodes with then manager Roberto Mancini made 148 appearances while scoring 79 goals.

A popular player that will be missed by the City fans.
