Balotelli, Ibrahimovich, PSG, AC Milan, PSV,

Jokingly the always controversial striker Mario Balotelli has said that he is better than Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and that his AC Milan side “killed” PSV in their Champions League second leg match 3-0.

Balotelli claimed that comparing him to the Swedish international was complimentary to the Paris Saint-Germaine striker.

Balotelli has been sensational since taking over from the departing Ibrahimovic who left AC Milan for PSG in January, a move that saw Balotelli move to the San Siro from Manchester City.

The Italian international believes that he and the 31-year-old are completely different players, but was joking when he said that he was superior.

“We are two different people, but comparing me to Zlatan is a compliment to him,” he said to Sky Italia after his side’s 3-0 win over PSV.

After the win over PSG Balotelli now has his sights set on winning the Champions League saying: “In Netherlands we didn’t play well, but we killed them here in Milan. We had a bad game in Eindhoven. It happens. It is better if that happens in the first leg than the second.”

Following the win Milan will be looking to improve on the Serie A start to the season when they play Cagliari on Sunday after having lost their opening match away to Hellas Verona.
