According to Forca Italia Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is ready to offer AC Milan £30 million for out of favour striker Stephan El Shaarawy after the 21-year-old has taken a back seat to Mario Balotelli at the San Siro.

The Rossoneri forward has so far only featured in two Serie A games this season after being troubled by injuries, and is thought to be looking for a move away from the Italian giants who have struggled taking just 11 points from their first nine games of the season.

Arsenal are currently top of the Premiership in England, and manager Arsene Wenger knows they are very much dependent on star striker Oliver Giroud after failing to sign a world class forward in the summer.

The talk around the Emirates is that Wenger will go back to the market in January for a top goalscorer as the Gunners hope to keep their title chances alive.

It was assumed that Real Madrid’s French international was the man Wenger wanted to sign, but with El Shaarawy now a possibility it gives the French manager another option.
