Arsenal have suffered an injury setback during training with England international Theo Walcott expected not to be out for a further two weeks that will see him miss the Gunners next three matches.

Walcott has been struggling to try and regain his fitness following a groin and stomach injury that required surgery that also saw him miss England’s last two World Cup qualifiers against Montenegro and Poland.

Theo Walcott has suffered an injury setback in training and is expected to spend another two weeks on the side-lines.

More importantly Walcott will miss Arsenals Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund this week, a match that Dortmund’s coach Jürgen Klopp says he is confident of winning, even though it will be played at the Emirates.

When commenting on Walcott’s situation manager Arsene Wenger said: “He had a setback on Thursday. He had to stop, to jog again.

“I don’t think we will see him against Dortmund nor Crystal Palace nor Chelsea.

“He is at least two weeks away now.”
