Arsenal and Chelsea target to remain in Germany

Horst Heldt the general manager of Schalke is positive that he can ward off any interest in Julian Draxler this January.

The 20-year-old is one of the Bundesliga’s best prospects, and already has seven international caps to his name.

It was his performances during last season’s Champions League that led to interest from Arsenals Arsene Wenger who pondered a deadline day move for the midfielder.

Heldt says that Schalke are not interested in hearing any offers for their star player who will remain in Germany after the winter transfer window is closed.

“We will retain Draxler,” he said.

“There will be no dramas this winter.”
