According to reports coming out of Italy carried by talkSPORT suggest former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez is heading for the exit door at Napoli following the Partenopei’s 2-0 loss to AC Milan last weekend.

The loss now has Napoli sitting 7th in Italy’s Serie A amid suggestions that the relationship between Benitez and the club has reached an all-time low.

Should Benítez leave the club it will only add to speculation over the future of Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers who is also under pressure to get results after Liverpool’s worst start to a season in 50 years.

The 54-year-old Benítez enjoyed some of his best moments on Merseyside including the epic Champions League win back in 2005 during his six years in charge of the club, and with his family still living in England he could very well jump at the chance to have a second spell at Anfield.
