Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood says RVP is very happy at Arsenal, and would not leave for more money.
The chairman also said the club has money to spend if they can get the right players at the right price.
The deal to sign Cologne and Germany striker Lukas Podolski is still on with the 26-year-old undergoing a medical that was overseen by Arsenal staff.
With all the speculation surrounding van Persie and how many of the top clubs will be after him this summer Hill-Wood said: “I think Robin and his family are very happy in London and I don’t think he is solely motivated by money as some players are,”
With talk off Arsenal also going after Borussia Dortmund’s Mario Gotze Hill-Wood implied that the money was available for Wenger should the right player come up adding: “If we find the right person for the right position we are happy to buy.”
“We have got enough to pay anything but silly prices.”
