Roma have approached Arsenal over a £5m move for Tomas Rosicky in January.

The Czech Republic midfielder’s time in north London has been severely disrupted by injury and he has not played this season following further problems.

An Achilles’ tendon injury sustained last summer has held Rosicky back and Arsene Wenger could look to cash-in on him in January.

Roma are interested in the 32-year-old and have already sounded out Arsenal over a possible move. His current contract expires in June 2014 and the Serie A club believe they can land him on the cheap.
