QPR have signed Yun Suk-Young for an undisclosed fee from Chunnam Dragons and will press ahead in their attempts to buy Stoke striker Peter Crouch.

South Korea defender Yun, 22, has signed a three-and-a-half year deal and will be able to play for the Loftus Road club once he gets a work permit.

Stoke are willing to sell Crouch but have rejected an offer of cash plus striker Jamie Mackie.

They hope to recoup close to the £12m they paid for him in August 2011.

As well as Crouch, 31, Rangers manager Harry Redknapp wants to sign former Blackburn defender Chris Samba from Anzhi Makhachkala before Thursday’s deadline.

Redknapp has signed striker Loic Remy and defender Tal Ben Haim, but has also seen defender Anton Ferdinand and striker Djibril Cisse depart this month, and will lose Ryan Nelsen to Toronto FC before the transfer deadline.
