Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku who is currently on loan for the season playing for Everton has said that he will score more goals than anyone at the club who farmed him out.

The Belgium international admits that it was his final decision to leave Stamford Bridge, but he only did so when it became clear that he would not be getting the playing time that he wanted.

So far this season the 20-year-old striker has already scored four goals for the Toffee’s, and has terrorised every club they have come up against.

Lukaku said: “The manager makes his decisions and I have to respect them, so I chose to go out on loan.

“I chose to leave and it’s up to me to prove the coach wrong.

“The only thing I can do is play well and score a lot and then I think people will say that I’m a good player.

“I want to score more goals than all the strikers currently at Chelsea. We will see at the end of the season who made the best choice.

“I hope my goals will help Everton finish higher than Chelsea.”

So far the young Belgium is easily outscoring the players he was shunned for, and if I was a betting man I would put my money on the young striker to prove Jose Mourinho wrong.
