EDIN DZEKO admits he is obsessed with winning the title at Manchester City again.

The £27million striker has netted five league goals this season but that does not guarantee him a regular start at the Etihad.

Dzeko, though, is ready to go at West Ham today — even if it means getting in the queue behind Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and Mario Balotelli.

And he is backing himself to succeed, too, following his two late match-winning strikes at West Brom a fortnight ago after being sprung from the bench.

And who can forget his last-minute goal in the thrilling 3-2 victory over QPR back in May — before Aguero had the final say — that helped City clinch their first-ever Premier League title?

Bosnia-Herzegovina star Dzeko, 26, said: “There are rumours about my future in England, Italy or Spain but I’m saying nothing.

“I am all about Manchester City and the deal I have here. It’s my obsession to win the title again with City.

“Roberto Mancini is the boss and I accept his orders. He’s always talking to us and is satisfied with my work.

“To play in a team like City’s is easy because of the quality of my companions. Every forward thinks he should be in the team but it’s up to each of us to give him problems over who he selects.

“I treat every training session as though it’s a proper match to show Mancini how much I want to play.

“Obviously it’s frustrating to be on the bench but that’s how it is in English football. The season is long and I will get chances, so I need to be ready.

“Nobody promised me a place in a title-winning side. I was very happy with my goals at West Brom and look forward to many more.

“And that incredible match against QPR is still fresh in my head. Added time on the last day of the season, I scored and then Aguero… it was madness, a day I shall never forget.

“This season has been good and bad. I’ve scored some important goals but it is complicated with so many big names to choose from.

“I have good relations with all the squad but with the forwards it is special. Myself, Tevez, Kun Aguero or Mario — we need the best combination but it’s not possible without good sporting feelings for each other.

“Still, I hope to face West Ham. They’ve improved a lot but we need to beat them and then Ajax in the Champions League next week.”
