Newcastle, Arsenal, Mike Ashley,

Newcastle United legend Malcolm Macdonald has said that Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley is a retailer, and that in his world everything is for sale, and that his first rejection of a bid for French midfielder Yohan Cabaye is just a ploy to set off a bidding war between two or three clubs telling Sky Sports News Radio, Macdonald said:

That’s why Newcastle made Arsenal’s offer public to set up a bidding war. Mike Ashley will sell anybody as long as he’s making a profit, he’s a retailer and everything is for sale. If Arsenal offer over £15m for the player, I think Newcastle will sell.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is under pressure to bring in some new signing, but unfortunately for Arsenal the rest of the football world knows this and can expect full price for their players.
