MAN United, Moyes, Everton, Martinez, Fellaini, Baines,

Manchester United manager David Moyes is expected to ratchet up the pressure on Roberto Martinez as he returns with a new much improved offer for Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines of £35 million.

Martinez who took over from Moyes at Everton says that the Scot is wasting his time as the pair is not for sale, and yet despite hearing that Moyes is set to test the Toffee’s resolve knowing that in order for Everton to buy they must first sell.

Spaniard Martinez is eager not to repeat what happened at Wigan where he was forced to sell his assets without being in a position to replace them.

Martinez added: “It’s been well-documented what happened with the transfer speculation.

“That’s been dealt with and it was all a little bit of a waste of time – time I don’t want the players to waste.

“I’m not a big believer in having the window open while the games are starting.

“I think the start of the season was important for us at Norwich and I won’t come out now and carry on talking about the speculation.

“I don’t believe in getting involved in the transfer window when the games are underway and we are in a very, very important moment of our season.”
