Celsea, AS Roma, Ba,

Chelsea front man and former Newcastle United striker Demba Ba could sign for AS Roma within the next 24 hours which will spark a series of moves across the board.

The Italian Seria A side are desperate to sign another striker before the window closes on September 2nd and have singled out the Senegalese striker as their prime target.

As Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho plans the clubs final bid for Wayne Rooney, they have a back-up plan in Porto’s Jackson Martinez so will probably sanction the sale of Ba to the Italians.

This will then allow Roma to sell Argentinian forward Erik Lamela to long time admirers Tottenham or to Arsenal who have suddenly become interested after failing to make any big name signings.
