Toni Kroos, Manchester United

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola opened up the doors last night for Manchester United to make a spectacular move for Bayer Munich midfielder Toni Kroos when he was quoted as saying in the Daily Express: “He is an important player but things can move fast in football.

“Here today, gone tomorrow.”

Manchester United manager David Moyes was spotted with Kroos agent last weekend watching Bayern Munich beat Borussia Monchengladbach 2-0 raising speculation that the Red Devils were interested in bringing the 24-year-old to Old Trafford.

Current negotiations between Kroos and Bayern Munich have stalled with Kroos agent Volker Struth saying that what the Germans want to offer is unacceptable to his client.

Kroos however seems to be open to a move saying: “I am unable to rule anything out.

“I am under contract with Bayern Munich (until June 2015). Actually there are yet no further talks (regarding a new contract) scheduled. I will therefore fully focus on the second half of the season.

“There are worse situations in life. I play for a top club, and under a top coach. I am pleased, and sometime in the future a decision will be made.”
