Always on the lookout for fresh young talent Liverpool has been keeping tabs on highly rated Argentinian striker Luciano Vietto according to the player’s agent who also said that there was interest from Real Madrid as well.
The now 20-year-old Vietto is a product of the Racing Club academy where Liverpool have been watching him since he graduated in 2011, and are now expected to try and bring him to Anfield during the summer.
‘We know that many top clubs are following Vietto,’ said agent Jorge Cysterpiller
‘There is a lot of competition to sign him. Liverpool we know like him and so do Real Madrid – I think also two German teams.
‘I think he could move at the end of the European season.’
In Argentina people are comparing him to Manchester City’s Sergio Agüero due to his speed and eye for goal which has seen the U-20 regular score two goals for his country in their last four games.
