England star Lamps, 34, will be out of contract after this season and has been told he can find a new club following 12 years with the Blues.

Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson is a big fan and is planning to make a summer move.

Reports in Italy have linked reigning Serie A champions Juve and San Siro giants Inter Milan with Lampard.

Italian international Pirlo, 33, said: “They would be mad to let him leave Chelsea — he’s still one of the best in the world.

“If he wants to play in Italy I would welcome him to Juventus with open arms.

“Lampard could have another four years at the top in Italy.”

The Chelsea ace came off the bench for the final 20 minutes of the 2-0 loss to Swansea last night.

He has played 577 games and scored 193 goals for the Blues since his £11million move from West Ham in June 2001.

Chelsea fans chanted ‘Sign him up’ when he came off the bench in Saturday’s 5-1 FA Cup win at Southampton.
