CROCKED John Terry will lift the trophy with Frank Lampard if Chelsea win tonight’s Europa League final and they are according to paddy power Europa league betting huge favorites.

The Blues captain faces more final heartbreak after he was banned for last year’s Champions League showpiece.

JT hurt his ankle at Aston Villa on Saturday. And he lasted less than five minutes of yesterday’s training session ahead of the clash with Benfica.

Lampard said: “I don’t want to tempt fate but it will be the same as last year.

“We win it together and I don’t think it matters who picks up the trophy as long as we win it.

“It was the same situation with John last year and it’s very unfortunate.

“When you have been here a long time trying to win cups and leagues, it doesn’t matter if you’re not playing in the final game because you’ve still been involved in the process.

“As captain of the club, John will be up there with us.”

Defender Terry, 32, was derided in Munich last season when he turned up in full playing kit to lift the Champions League trophy with Lampard.
