HARRY REDKNAPP blasted his hapless Hoops as they let in three first-half goals.

Dimitar Berbatov scored twice for Fulham and the QPR boss stormed: “We gave away three of the worst goals I’ve ever seen in my life. A disastrous first half cost us.

“Fulham didn’t even have to work for them.

“We absolutely battered them in the second half but you can’t give away three goals like that and expect to win.”

The defeat leaves Rangers still seven points off safety with just seven games left.

But Redknapp is refusing to throw in the towel. He said: “I draw encouragement all the time.

“We’re not giving up. We’ve got to beat Wigan on Sunday.

“I’ve said all along we need another 14 points.

“That means we’ve got to win four and draw two. We don’t need a miracle.”

After falling 3-0 behind through Berbatov’s brace and a Clint Hill own goal, Adel Taarabt gave Rangers hope in the 45th minute.

And, although Loic Remy missed a penalty, the French striker pounced to make it 3-2.

Then Fulham had Steve Sidwell sent off and Redknapp said: “If you had offered me a point at 3-2 then I wouldn’t have taken it because I could only see one winner.”

Fulham boss Martin Jol said: “It was a great game for the spectators.

“But, overall, it was a bit disappointing to let them back in it.”
