Hamburg will attempt to land Arsenal outcast Nicklas Bendtner at the end of the season.

The striker joined Juventus on a season-long loan deal in the summer but has endured a miserable campaign in Turin.

The 25-year-old has appeared just 10 times for the club and is still yet to score in any competition.

And his season went from bad to worse last week when he admitted on Twitter to drink driving during a trip back to Copenhagen – and the Danish Football Association have confirmed they will now not pick him for six months as a result of the incident.

But despite all that, Bundesliga side Hamburg still want to sign him in the summer.

The club’s general manager, Frank Arnesen, tried to land the Dane last summer before he opted to join Juve.

And after Bendtner’s nightmare trip to Juve, it has been claimed the German club will revive the move at the end of the season.
