New Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly ready to let go many of the current squad including Juan Mata.

Surprisingly there have been consistent rumours linking Mata with a return to Spain. The former Valencia play-maker has enjoyed two brilliant seasons at Stamford Bridge and many are shocked he could be shown the door.

A couple of English newspapers have reported Mata and Mourinho have already fallen out and Chelsea may well cash in on the £30million man. Both of Spain’s finest in the form of Real Madrid and Barcelona are ready and waiting should he go.

Mata isn’t the only Chelsea player rumoured to be on his way out, as Fernando Torres, Branislav Ivanovic, Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku all linked with moves away.

Torres, who recently admitted he has flopped since his £50million move, has openly admitted he wouldn’t mind a return to Spain with former club Atletico Madrid waiting in the wings.

Former Chelsea manager Rafael Benetiz wants to bring Ivanovic with him to Naples and was hoping to include the Serbian defender in any deal for Edison Cavani. Although Chelsea rejected this swap, a deal isn’t completely off the table.

Despite the club struggling, on a personal level De Bruyne enjoyed an excellent season with Werder Bremen last year. The Belgian international reportedly wants to stay in Germany and both Bayern Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund have been linked with the highly talented youngster.

Although Chelsea aren’t going to let Lukaku go permanently, a host of clubs are willing to bring the forward in on loan for a year. West Ham and Dortmund only have one recognized striker and a short-term deal would be beneficial.
