The £8million rated striker tops the scoring charts in Holland – and he’s sent clear signal to Roberto Di Matteo that he’s right up for it!

Chelsea transfer target Wilfried Bony has given Roberto Di Matteo a clear ‘come and get me’ signal by singling out the Blues among all his Premier League suitors.

Chelsea’s sporting director Michael Emenalo scouted Bony at the weekend, playing for Vitesse Arnhem against FC Twente.

But the Blues are not alone in tracking the Ivory Coast international – Everton, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Wigan are all reportedly in the hunt.

Bony is the top scorer in the Eredivisie this season. Chelsea are also set on Radamel Falcao at Atletico Madrid, but with Manchester City ready to wrestle for that plum too, Bony looks like a can-have option.

The 23-year-old is contracted at Vitesse until 2015 but told Czech Republic newspaper Pravo: “It’s not the number one topic for me at the moment, but if they write about me going there, then it’s great isn’t it?

“But seriously, if they want me, it would be a great honour. I would be glad to go to such a club.

“I love English football and wouldn’t be afraid to play there. Chelsea are a top club.

“If Chelsea are interested in the winter and the clubs reach an agreement, then why not?

“We’ll see what happens. At the moment I want to be playing as well as I can for Vitesse.

“I know that Chelsea and Arnhem are close and some of the Chelsea lads are here on loan, including Tomas [Kalas]. I have discussed it with him many times already.”
