Peter Lim the Singapore billionaire business man that is trying to buy the financially troubled Spanish league side Valencia has made it known that should he be successful in taking over the club he would like to bring Chelsea striker Fernando Torres back to Spain according to the Daily Mirror.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has made the signing of a new striker his number one priority next summer with it currently looking like Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani is the man he wants to bring on board, and with Torres turning 30 next month they know that they will never have an opportunity to get back some of the £50 million they paid to Liverpool.

Torres is also believed to be keen on a move back to his homeland with a return to his old club Athletico Madrid also being mentioned as a possibility, but now we will have to wait and see if Lim can push his deal through for Valencia CF after his initial bid was rejected by the clubs creditors.

Lim remains adamant that he still intends to buy the club with is 70% owned by the local government after the banking crisis forced construction on a new stadium to halt.
