MARIO BALOTELLI scored both goals as AC Milan cruised to victory yesterday.

The former Manchester City striker made it seven goals in six appearances for his new club.

He was on target as Milan eased to a 2-0 win over Serie A bottom club, Palermo at the San Siro.

Balotelli was quick off the mark, winning and converting an eighth-minute penalty. He made the game safe for third-placed Milan in the 66th minute with an easy tap-in.

Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri said: “Mario has blended in very well. He is an excellent professional and wants to improve. This is his chance to show his exceptional talent.”
