According to METRO Arsenal is prepared to have one last go this transfer window to sign Schalke’s Julian Draxler.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger however has been saying that it is looking very unlikely that any new signings will be joining the Gunners this transfer window, but that has not yet given up hope of landing Draxler.
Arsenal representative met with the club last week but were unable to complete a deal that would see the 20-year-old move to the Emirates, and are now prepared for one last try that could include the possibility of Lukas Podolski returning to Germany as part of the deal.
Schalke knows that Wenger wants Draxler and is sticking to their £37 million valuation and despite Wenger supposedly offering way short of that amount he will try once more this weekend to get a deal done.
