ROBERTO MANCINI saw City robbed then conceded their Euro dream is over.

Furious Mancini and his players surrounded ref Peter Rasmussen at the end after TWICE being wrongly denied a winner.

Mancini said: “I think it’s finished for the Champions League now.”

City were livid when Sergio Aguero had a late goal wrongly ruled offside.

Then Mario Balotelli was clearly hauled over in the penalty box by Ricardo van Rhijin in the final seconds.

Striker Balo was incensed and had to be held back from the Danish official by his team-mates.

Mancini added: “I said to the referee it was a goal. The referee and his staff were really poor. It was incredible that they did not give that goal.

“I didn’t see the situation with the foul on Mario but my players say it was a penalty.”

The draw means City need a miracle to qualify from Group D after taking just two points from four games.

They have to win against Real Madrid at the Etihad and triumph in Dortmund then hope other results go their way.

City were rocked on their heels in a must-win game when skipper Siem de Jong put Ajax into a shock 2-0 lead in just 17 minutes.

Yaya Toure gave City hope in the 22nd minute and Aguero levelled the scores with 16 minutes left.

Mancini added: “We scored three goals, probably we conceded two stupid goals. You cannot concede two goals from corners in a game like this.

“We should have more attention in that situation in an important game like this.

“We have two difficult games and now have to try to win — it doesn’t change anything.”

Mancini also played down a row with a TV cameraman.

He said: “The cameraman wanted to do a film with me and he followed me all over the pitch.

“I said ‘finish, finish It is not about me, it’s about the game.’”

Skipper Vincent Kompany said: “I’m sure it was a penalty. It was very clear. But we are still in with a fight.”

Kompany admitted City’s leaky defence was to blame for the early setbacks.

He added: “Corners are very important to defend as a team and we’ve probably let ourselves down on those two.

“When you look at the game they didn’t have many chances and those goals are not good. It was a case of us scoring.

“It’s not a case that we’re not good enough.”
