Footballing giants Barcelona has already alerted top teams that they will be making several players available for transfers this summer, and among them is former Arsenal player Cesc Fabregas says this morning’s Daily Mirror.
The 27-year-old Spanish international has always maintained a good relationship with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger and has said on numerous occasions that he could see himself back at the Emirates one day.
When Arsenal sold the Spaniard to Barcelona three years ago for £30 million they included a buyback clause in his contract giving them first refusal should the Catalan club decide to sell him.
Should Arsenal turn down the offer to sign him they would then receive a share of any money in excess of the £30 million he was sold for.
Barcelona is thought to be looking to raise around £35 million for the midfielder a figure which should tempt the 64-year-old Frenchman to consider bringing him back to north London.
