Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is confident of getting two signings done very soon, with the first of which being French international right-back Mathieu Debuchy who the value at £10 million, and the second one being Barcelona’s Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez who Arsenal value at £25 million.
There has been much speculation suggesting that Sanchez may go to Liverpool in a deal that sees Luis Suarez move to the Nou Camp, but the Daily Mirror is this morning suggesting that the Chilean striker would prefer to move to the Emirates and play for Arsenal.
Representatives from Arsenal have already met with Sanchez’s advisers, and believe that personal terms with the 25-year-old could be agreed to quickly once Barcelona accepts their offer.
Arsenal appears to be very optimistic about getting both of these deals done and then would move on for a new midfielder and a backup goalkeeper.
There is also interest in Sanchez from a couple of clubs in Italy but the Gunners hope for further negotiations with his agent Fernando Felicevich, who is expected to fly to London for more talks.
