Turkish giants Galatasaray are said according to Neil Moxley in the Sunday People ready to offer Liverpool centre-half Martin Skrtel a staggering £100,000 per-week to join the Istanbul club.

The Slovak international was the cornerstone in a somewhat porous Liverpool defence last season that saw the Reds finish second in the Premiership, and with two years still remaining on his contract it is hard to imagine Liverpool letting him leave.

The 29-year-old Slovak appears to be happy on Merseyside, but will be tempted to follow big name players Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder to the cash rich club.

Meanwhile in other Liverpool news Iago Aspas could be set to return to Spain and play for Seville for half of the £7.2 million the Reds paid to Celta Vigo last summer.
