Swedish national team Captain and PSG lethal striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is presently been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United.

This is not the first time Arsene Wenger is linked with Ibrahimovic as the striker is known to have rejected the offer of a trial with the North London club before his move to Ajax in the early days of his career.

Ibrahimovic has been a success even in his advanced age as the 34-year-old has won 12 League titles in four different countries (Netherlands, Italy, Spain and France). This season Ibrahimovic has scored 33 goals in all competitions for PSG and is out of contract in the summer.

Meanwhile the striker is requesting for a £250,000-a-week wages in North London. Though Wenger is not a coach that is often linked with players above 30, it is believed that his inability to win the Premier League in the last 12 years is disturbing hence his move for the Swede who is a proven goalscorer and one who gets more than 20 league goals each season for sometime now.

According to reports, Wenger is ready to give Zlatan the amount of money he wants to convince him to move to Arsenal ahead of Manchester United who have also been linked with his signing.

Should the report be true, Zlatan will finally have the opportunity of playing for Arsenal. The former Ajax star was reportedly close to becoming an Arsenal player years ago but the deal was canceled when Wenger came in and asked the Swede to under go a trial which was rejected by Zlatan.
